Director Gautham Menon’s Ajith 55 is making swift progress and the latest news is that Malayalam actress Devi Ajith has joined the film’s cast. Devi Ajith has tweeted “Kollywood Beckons !!! Thanks Gautham Menon !!! Joined ” Thala 55 ” ! Excited !” Devi Ajith has acted in many Malayalam films such as Trivandrum Lodge and Seetha Kalyanam. She has also acted in Tamil film Sooraiyadal.

Ajith and director Siruthai Siva seem to have decided to create the Veeram magic again. We hear that the duo will be teaming up again for a film and this will be Thala's next project after Gautham Menon's film. This project is expected to take off in the upcoming months, and will be Siva's next after Veeram in Tamil.
A source in the know says, "Siva is currently writing the script for the Ajith flick and the talks have also been finalized. It is in an early stage of production and they have plans to start shooting from November. Apart from Ajith and Siva doing the film, no other detail (including the production house) has been finalized on the project. While they were working on Veeram, apparently Ajith had told Siva that he would like to work with him again. Recently, he firmed up that he will start the project once Gautham's film is complete."
Meanwhile, Veeram is going to be remade in Hindi. The source adds, "Siva will direct the Hindi remake himself. He will take up that project next year after he completes the new Ajith film. Salman Khan is likely to do Ajith's role in the Bollywood version."

Actor Ajith has taken his passion for photography to the next level. The actor, who is an avid photographer and known to never miss an opportunity to click every time he is outdoors, has now begun taking lessons on techniques of indoor photography as well. photography as well.

A source in the know reveals, “ Ajith takes photography very seriously . In fact, he makes it a point to take his camera with him every time he goes to a new location.
Several people, including actress Piaa, have credited Ajith for inspiring them to take up photography . Now, the actor wants to try his hand at indoor photography . He has been asking his photographer friends for tips on the different techniques associated with shooting indoors.
He has also been researching on the internet about different lights, lenses, and reflectors.“

Gautham Menon and team are back from Malaysia and the shooting of Ajith 55 has recommenced in Chennai. It is said that the director had shot in Kuala Lumpur for just four days and a major part of the shooting happened at the airport and inside a jetliner.
Back in the city and well into the next schedule, sources say that the director is busy shooting scenes with Ajith during the nights on Mount Road. Around 30 percent of the shooting has been wrapped up till now.

The crew headed by director Gautham Menon shot a few scenes in Malaysian airport last week for actor Ajith's 55th film that has Anushka as the female lead. Sources close to the unit reveal that the team shot a romance sequence between the lead pair in the airport and inside a jetliner.
Touted as na Investigative thriller, the as yet untitled flick will have heart-warming romance portions as in the earlier films of Gautham who is considered as an expert in handling romance in films.
When the team landed in the Malaysia, they were given a royal welcome by the Prime Minister's office. The film's producer A.M.Ratnam had obtained all permissions required to shoot the film in the airport.
